He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Hattley and Eleanor McKenna (Smith); and his sister Betty Stone (Hattley). He is survived by: his wife Lillian; his daughters, Loretta Woodard and Jackie Oettinger; his grandchildren, Jennifer Calhoon, Amanda Kilgore and Wesley Oettinger; and his great grandchildren, Evan Oettinger, Noah Calhoon, Emmaleigh Calhoon, Conner Freeman and Julia Oettinger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
