Linda Kay Marlin Obituary
Linda Kay Marlin, 72, of Hixson, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
She was born in Savannah, Georgia to the late Charles Lawrence Dudley, Sr. and Evelyn (Wiggins) Dudley.
She is preceded in death by her beloved late husband of 34 years James Marlin and her late brother Charles Lawrence Dudley, Jr.
She retired from the Hamilton County Health Department.
Survivors include her two daughters Debbie Hickman of Soddy Daisy and Kathy (Darrell) Cagle of Hixson; granddaughter, Whitney Hamrick of Soddy Daisy; great grandson, Rylan "Roo" Hamrick; sister-in-law, Vicki O'Neal of North Carolina; three nieces Jennifer Nelson, Katie Fulgueira both of Florida, Jackie Dudley of Chattanooga; great niece, Joey Dudley of Chattanooga.
Kay was beautiful, loving, caring, compassionate, giving and loved by all that knew her.
Her daughter Kathy would like to express heartfelt thanks to nurse Stephanie Billingsley (Cocoa) and CNA Amanda (Mandy) Thompson of Kindred Hospice for the great love and care given to my mother as well as herself. They went above and beyond for the last 10 months. They will always be remembered for their love, care and dedication.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
