She is survived by: her husband Melvin of Hixson; her daughter Cassandra Griffitts; her granddaughter Alyssa Medley; her great grandchildren, Travis Welden and Shaylea Paje Welden of Alabama; and her sister Ruth Creekmore of California. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
