He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Ellis and Irene Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Alice Ellis; his children, Alan Ellis (Kayla) and Michelle Ellis Cunningham; his grandchildren, Joshua, Allison, Hannah, Caleigh, Sawyer, Salem, Soraya and Sandro; and his brother George "Butch" Ellis (Victoria). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
A reception was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
