We bid farewell to Mildred Shortt Stephens (Hixson, Tennessee), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 29, 2025 at the age of 93. Mildred touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil Stephens; and her parents, Frank Shortt and Hilda Shortt. She is survived by: her children, Nick Stephens, Denise Dodd and Robin Wilson (Robert Williams); her grandchildren, Lori Dodd, Stacy Karas (Dustin), Paula Uren (Chad) and Leslie McDade (Mike); and her great-grandkids, Alexis, Hayden McDade, Brittany Higdon, Grayson Bailey and Gabby Morrison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
