He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Delashmitt and Emma Delashmitt; his siblings, Grady Delashmitt, Franklin Delashmitt, Alma Dearing and Mildred White; and his son Mark Delashmitt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Hope Delashmitt Holder and Laura Delashmitt Walker (Byron). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Lane Funeral Home Coulter Chapel (601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
