With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Green of Hixson, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2025 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy Green to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband John G. Green; her stepson John G. Green Jr.; and her parents, Edward C. Wright and Levina G. Wright. She is survived by: her daughter Patti Green Jenkins; her grandchildren, Megan Jenkins, Hannah Johnson, Laura Reed, Andrew Keith and Elizabeth Jenkins; her great grandchildren, Emma Keith, James Johnson, Peter Johnson and David Johnson; her sister Edwina Carla Lewis; and her sibling's children, Alise O'Brien and Justin Barrows.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home Coulter Chapel (601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chattanooga Memorial Park (501 Memorial Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37415).
