He was predeceased by: his father Max Porter; and his sister Sherry Keel. He is survived by: his mother Lorene Porter; his children, Ashley Combest (Ryan), Lauren Hill (Jeremy) and Blake Porter; his siblings, Guerry Porter (Jo) and Kim Higdon (Mike); his brother-in-law Ken Keel; and his grandchildren, Avery Bates and Maverik Hill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
