She was predeceased by: her daughter Shannon Wilson; her parent Emilee Hawkins; and her siblings, Kennel Brown, Betty Robinson, Sally Hackney and Mary Haynes.

She is survived by: her boyfriend Gary Holder Sr.; her children, Gary Dean Holder Jr. and Tammy Wright (Jeff Gregory); her granddaughter Emilee Sample; her great grandchildren, Zoey Mcintire and Sylas Sample; and her brother Eddie Hawkins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
