She was predeceased by: her husband John Michael Thurman; and her daughter Kerri Day. She is survived by: her son Kent Lovern; her son-in-law Chip Day; her grandchildren, Rebecca Lovern, Noland and Natalie Day; her sister Elaine Howard (Gary); her nephews, Alan Ball and Kevin Ball; and her great-niece Ivy Scott Ball.
