Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Vicki Lynn Porterfield of Hixson, Tennessee, born in Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 55, on December 9, 2025. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Vicki may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her son David Anthony Porterfield; her father Johnie E. Daniel; and her grandparents, Bill and Joyce Gilliland. She is survived by: her husband Jim Porterfield; her mother Janet Daniel; and her brother Ben Daniel. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ridgedale Baptist Church (1831 Hickory Valley Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
