He was predeceased by: his daughters, Kristy and Becky Owens; his parents, Clark "Hoggie" Owens and Ella Mae Owens; his brothers, Bobby and David Owens; and his grandparents, Fred and Bertha McNabb.
He is survived by: his daughter April Owens; his siblings, Lonnie Skyles (Joyce) and Kim Dodd (Eddie); and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Owens and Marie Owens. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
