Though Sonja Sue may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Johnston and Katie Sue Johnston (Denton); and her brother Danny Johnston. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Reeves; her daughter Heather Covington (Cory); her stepsons, Justin Reeves and Jared Reeves (Kelly); and her siblings, Jimmie Kay McCarthy and David Johnston.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hohenwald First United Methodist Church (200 S Court St, Hohenwald, TN 38462). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Polk Memorial Gardens (6465 Trotwood Ave, Columbia, TN 38401).
