She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Rettner and Ingeborg Preißler; and her husband Charles Colwell, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Marcus Colwell of Dickson, TN and Charles Colwell III of Centerville, TN; and her sister Ina Ingel of Germany.
