He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Tate and Jane Tate (Daniels). He is survived by: his wife Velma Tate (Roberson) of Hornbeak; his children, Hailey Crowell of Hornbeak, Jada Owens (Robert) of Union City, Paul Tate (Trisha) of Obion, Matt Tate (Jessica) of Ridgely and Doug Baker (Molly) of Obion; and his siblings, Martha Roney (Cecil) of Troy, Patsy Holland of Chaffee and Franklin Tate (Lori Pope) of Obion.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greater Vision Church (701 Mary Jane St, Troy, TN 38260). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
