He was predeceased by: his father Roy Raymond Hanna. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Smith Hanna; his children, Loura Williams (Kyle) of Murfreesboro, Sallie Stevens (Len) of Arrington and Raymond Hanna (Jennifer) of Gallatin; and his grandchildren, Hanna Allen, Camden Williams, Ben Williams and Gavin Hanna.
He also attended Louisiana State University from a National Science Foundation grant.
