She was predeceased by : her parents, Vester Gaines and Dorothy Gaines; her husband Budde Myrl Thomas; her siblings, Bill Bell and Judith Cross; and her son-in-law Ricky Kent.
She is survived by : her daughters, Scherry G. Proctor (Morris) of Bartlett, TN and Lori D. Kent of Humboldt, TN; her grandchildren, Eric Overton (Lacey), Teresa Frazier (Brett) and Tracy Bourland (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Cody Katz, Ema Overton, Levi Overton, Brett Frazier, Jr., Isaac Bourland, Amelia Bourland and Josephine Bourland.
