He was predeceased by : his parents, Ollaway Jones (Shack) and Mary Mann Jones. He is survived by : his children, Anthony Jones (Denise) and Rachel Jones; his wife Irene Jones; his grandson Bryce Askew of Milan, TN; his sisters, Cowell Newberry, Genelle Wilson of Humboldt, TN, Joyis Thomas and Beverly Johnson (Donald) of St. Louis, MO; his aunts, Marion Watkins of Humboldt, TN and Anna Glenn of Detroit, MI; his siblings, Pearlie Mae Pipkin, John Andrew, Sammie D., Ollie Trevis, Durwood and Jimmy Donald; and his siblings-in-law, Roy Newberry, Clarence Thomas Jr. and Joyce Marie Jones. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
