Jack Steven Mays Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 22, 2026, at the age of 67, Jack Steven Mays (Humboldt, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jack may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Earl Mays and Estelle Mays (Turner); and his brothers, Norman Gayle Mays and Glenn Earl Mays. He is survived by: his son Nick Mays (Angie); and his grandson Spencer Mays.

In lieu of flowers, Jack requested memorials be directed to the Peabody High School Scholarship Fund.
