He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hessie and Mary Alice Wardlow. He is survived by: his son Kenneth Ray Jackson; his grandchildren, R'hea of Phoenix, AZ. and Tia Jackson of Phoenix, AZ.; and his siblings, Floyd Wardlow (Zelodious), Michael Wardlow of Humboldt, TN, Garfield Herron of Memphis, TN., Deborah Walker of Humboldt, TN, Arlene Wardlow of Marietta, Sandra Wardlow of Jackson, TN. and Angela Gill (David) of Jackson, TN.. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, family, and friends.
