He was predeceased by: his parents, George Parrish and Flossie Parrish; his siblings, Freddy Parrish and Dorthy Grooms; and his children, Matthew Parrish and Regina Smith.

He is survived by: his children, Tim Parrish, Bubba Smith, Randy Smith, Stephanie Parrish, Jennifer Wilson and Janie Smith; and his siblings, George Lynn Parrish, James Parrish and Carma Gamblin. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
