He is survived by : his wife Shirley McClearen Smith; his children, Timothy Loyd Smith and Sharon Lynne Smith Thomas (Andrew); his daughter-in-law Kristy Smith; and his grandchildren, Haley Ann Smith and Brandon Lawrence Hecht (Nikki).
