He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Milton and Lacy Mae Walters; and his siblings, Earl Walters, Wray Walters, Faye Black and Polly Ferguson.

He is survived by : his wife Treva Walters; his children, Christy Fowler (James) and Casey Walters (Holly); his grandchildren, Chris Fowler (Molly Holland), Cody Fowler (Autumn), Dylan Fowler, Haley Grace Walters and Erik Walters; and his great grandchildren, Cherish Fowler, Devin Fowler and Brenley Hazlewood.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society.
