He is survived by: his wife Denise Blackketter; his children, Emily Freeman (Daniel) of Bolivar, Adam Blackketter (Jacqui) and Thomas Blackketter; his siblings, Susan Partridge (Mike), Gail Eubanks (Harold), Ann Butler (Ricky) of Huntingdon and Van Blackketter (Louanne) of McLemoresville; his grandchildren, Ruthie, Jemima, Valor, Sinai, Abigail and Gideon; and his stepmother Katie Blackketter of Shawnee, Oklahoma..
