It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Butler Byars of Huntingdon, Tennessee, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Webb and Minnie Williams Webb; her former husband James Edward Butler Jr.; and her husband Hershel Byars. She is survived by: her children, Gail Edwards (Steve) of Huntingdon, Shelia Whitworth (Mitchell) of Huntingdon, Kristie Butler (Kimberly) of Medina, Tennessee and Ricky Butler (Ann) of Huntingdon, Tennessee; her sisters, Brenda Dickson (Steve) of Bruceton and Janet Prince of Murfressboro, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Kendra La, Kala Sanders (Trevor), Kodie Edwards (Kara), Dustin Whitworth (Whittney), Drake Whitworth (Jessica), Hunter Foster, Tanier Foster, Kirk Butler (Crystal), Kevin Butler (Crystal) and Karl Butler. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
