He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Everett and Lucy Avis Brewer Stewart; his son Michael Ross Stewart; and his siblings, Elvin Stewart, Bobby Stewart, Jerrold Stewart, Tommy Stewart and Ruby Cole.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Stewart; his daughter Camey Hall (Kevin) of Huntingdon; his brother Ricky Stewart (Darlene) of Corinth, Mississippi.; his grandchildren, Sean Kendall (Sarah Reisinger), Haley Kendall, Logan Hall and Chris Stewart; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Kamdin, Landry, Korbyn Lucy and Micheal; and his pet Milo.
