With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Sewell (Huntingdon, Tennessee), born in McKenzie, Tennessee, who passed away on August 21, 2018 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Jessie I. Roberts; her former husbands, Denver Hicks and Sammy Douglas Sewell; and her brother Willis Martin Roberts. She is survived by: her parent Nell Roberts (Pinson); her children, Charles Hicks of Dover and Elaina Sharpe (Glen) of Tennessee; her sister Carolyn Scates of Huntingdon; her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Jean Barker of Huntingdon and Robert Hicks; her grandchildren, Justin, Shelley, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Cassandra; Brighton of Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to First Baptist Church Childcare or the Alzheimer's Association.
