He was predeceased by: his parents, William Basil Harder and Essie Mae Smothers; his wife Mary Jane Harder; his former wife Virginia Brown; his granddaughter Meghan Weekly; and his brother Joseph Donald Harder.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Davis of Huntingdon, Tennessee and William Dale Harder (Yin) of Parma, Ohio; his sister Betty Gricar of Columbia, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Dawn Gabor and Heath Weekly. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
