He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde McCartney and Cora Lou McCartney of Milan, Tennessee.; his wife Brenda Sue McCartney (Brandon); and his brother-in-law Paul Woodford. He is survived by: his sons, Anthony McCartney (Keliea) of Huntingdon and Kirk McCartney of Greenfield, Tennessee; his sisters, Betty Woodford of Chapel Hill and Cindy Milligan (Tommy) of Bradford, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Aiden McCartney, Haleigh McCartney Stefanakos and Colin Laman. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
