She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Lewis and Lois Jean Hampton; and her brother Kenny Hampton. She is survived by: her son Quamae Jackson (Lacey); her grandson Braxton Jackson of Hazel Green, Alabama; and her close friend Gary Fulton of Shelbyville, Tennessee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
