With solemn reverence, we commemorate Steven Dwayne Wright of Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, whose life came to an end on October 10, 2025 at the age of 53, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Linda Sue Betty Wright; and his grandparents, Cecil, Jane Betty of McEwen, George and Bessie Wright of Waverly.

He is survived by: his father Virgil E. Wright; his wife Melinda Kaye Wright; his children, Courtney Poindexter (Keith) of Hurricane Mills and Matthew Kilpatrick of Clarksville; his grandchildren, Haley Poindexter of Hurricane Mills, Chesney Slayton of Hurricane Mills and Brady Poindexter of Hurricane Mills; his great grandchild Valerie Chapman of Hurricane Mills; and his sisters, Tammy Gibson (Tommy) of Watson, Penny Roberson (Sandy) of Waverly and Amy Tester (Dennis) of Waverly. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and in-laws.

To continue his legacy of compassion, the family requests that, instead of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
