It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Davis of Indian Mound, Tennessee, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Myrtle Mae Calloway Davis and David Daniel Davis; his wife Muriel England Davis; his daughter Alice Marie Davis-Trickey; and his siblings, William Davis (Alma), Louis Davis, Joel Levon Davis (Laurel), Melvin Davis (Patricia), Christine Morris (Coy), Doris Carr (Wiley) and Ruby Davis.

He is survived by : his daughters, Jennifer Comley (Ray) and Melanie Steinke (Dave); his grandchildren, Krista Steinke, Michelle Trickey, Denise Trickey, Kyle Comley (Carrie) and Daniel Comley; his great grandchildren, Jonathan Trickey, Alice Trickey and Bryce Comley; and his sisters, Elsie Davis Stegall and Annie Ruth Davis Pate.
