He is survived by: his wife Brenda Ford Downs; his children, Joy Coy (Mike) and Jan Gunter (Chris); and his grandchildren, Allison Parker (Jake), Miranda Anglin (Landon), Emma Taylor, Ella Gunter, Easton Gunter, Kortney Denison (Aaron) and Hunter Coy (Jenna).
