We are sad to announce that, on April 3, 2025, at the age of 83, Charles King of Iron City, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Charles farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Charles is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Kelley King; his daughter Jennifer Canerday; and his parents, Charles King and Lillie Mae White King. He is survived by: his daughter Angie King-McClung (Terry Hornsby) of Iron City, TN; his sister Jean Marie Howell of Golden, MS; his son-in-law James Buster Canerday of Iron City, TN; and his grandchildren, Samantha Williams of Collinwood, TN, Mandy Dulaney (Dustin) of Tuscumbia, AL, Brooke McClung (Madison Tubbs) of Jasper, AL, Clay King (Mendy) of Florence, AL and Tiffany Frost (Ryan Clay) of Iron City, TN. He is also survived by 16 Great Grandchildren.
