He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Holt (Wayne), Samantha Gail Atwell, Christopher Daryl Stults and Tony Shane Stults (April); his grandchildren, Brandy Putnam (Coleman), Joshua Holt (Joy), Todd Stults, Johnathon Tucker, Amber Tucker, Brittany Gillespie (Ryan), Lilly Stults and Lucas Stults; his great grandchildren, Jordan Perry, Drey Perry, Emma Boils, Cheyanna Rowden, Elijah Rowden, Emmanuel Rowden, Serenity Rowden, Jaxson Dorsey, Gryffin Gillespie and William "Liam" Gillespie; his wife Kay Stults; and his sister Carline Daniels. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and all of his family and friends.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Greenhill Funeal Home Chapel (8450 US-43, Florence, AL 35634). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Railroad Cemetery (125 Pleasant Springs Church Rd, Iron City, TN 38463).
