It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donnie Boshears of Jacksboro, Tennessee, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Boshears; his parents, Joe Riley and Lola Boshears (Lay); and his siblings, Aileen Blakeley, Dorothy Cooper (Dot), Carl Boshears and Douglas Boshears.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Boshears (Laura) and Donald Boshears (Tina); his grandchildren, Amanda Boshears, Joe Boshears (Megan), Loren Humphrey (Josh), Lacey Boshears (Tanner), Chelsea Boshears and Hubert Kitts; his great grandchildren, Maddox, Drew, Jaxson, Abigail, Elizabeth, Haley, Lane, Tristen and Cason; and his siblings, Melvin Boshears and Shirley Ann Boshears Bright.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Hill Baptist Church (636 Demory Rd, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bakers Forge Cemetery (2681 Demory Rd, LaFollette, TN 37766).
