She was predeceased by : her husband Luther Jeffers; her mother Evelyn G. Lawrence; her stepfather Ronald M. Lawrence; and her brother Billy G. Bolden (Jaunita). She is survived by : her daughter Tamara Proffitt (Trevor); her grandchildren, Katelyn Capouellez (Robert) and Andrew Proffitt; and her sister Delores Young (James). She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
