With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ricky Lee Brown of Jacksboro, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ricky may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee and Rita Jean Bolton Brown; and his sisters, Barbara Sue and Stephanie. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Orick Brown; his stepson Brandon Elkins (Kara); his grandchildren, Eden, August and Titus Elkins; and his siblings, Vickie Williams (Mike) and Tim Brown (Melissa). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and his beloved LUB family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the High Street Baptist Church (307 N 15th St, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Campbell Memorial Gardens (361 Memorial Dr, Jacksboro, TN 37757).
