He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Baird Human; his parents, Ervin Human and Anna Mae Rogers Human; his sister Shirley Wagner; and his son-in-law Jason Carroll.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jamie (Paul Wheeler) and Christy Carroll; his grandson Gabriel Thomas Carroll; and his brother Benny Gus Human.
