With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Wallace Disspayne of Jacksboro, Tennessee, born in Lafollette, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2026 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Wallace Disspayne (Sharon) and Rose Lee Pye (Max Pye, Sr.); his grandparents, Colonel Monroe Disspayne, Margaret Edna Gatlin, Walter Russell and Mary Elizabeth Russell; his mother-in-law Betty Smith; his aunt Jean Tidwell; and his nephew Bently Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Disspayne; his children, Amanda Ayers (Darrell), Laura Adkins, Donald Disspayne and Shay Cadle (Jason); his grandchildren, Daniel Disspayne, Alyssa Disspayne, Juilo Rosas, Tommy Partin, Madison Cadle, Lucas, Sara Ayers, Laura and Adam Brugman; his great grandchildren, Asher Rosas, Parker Ayers and Taylan Ayers; his siblings, Terisa Morrison, Darlene, Eddie Perkins, Roger Disspayne and Gail Disspayne; and his friends, Paul Sweat, Neal Chaniott, Lansden Hill and Galia Thompson. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
