It is with great sadness that we announce the death of April Michelle Busby (Jackson, Tennessee), who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her parents, Gail Burns Wernimont of Jackson, TN and Peter Wernimont of Memphis, TN; her husband Dan Busby of Jackson, TN; her children, Miller Pounds (Jessica) of Medon, TN and Jessie Carter (Winter Santiago) of Henderson, TN; her sister Ginny Williams (Johnny) of Jackson, TN; her grandchildren, Harper Pounds, Ruth Pounds, Rose Lee Busby, Ashton Santiago and Jaelyn Santiago; her nieces, Raven and Tesla; and her nephew Stryder.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Arrington Funeral Directors and Crematory (148 W University Pkwy, Jackson, TN 38305). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
