It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Wilma Sisson of Jackson, Tennessee, born in Madison, Tennessee, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Elder and Bertha Collins Elder; and her husband John E. Sisson. She is survived by : her sons, Dentis Sisson (Cathey) of Lexington, TN and Danny Sisson of Jackson, TN; her sister Barbara Downen (Tom) of Jackson, TN; and her grandchildren, Troy Sisson, Melissa Pope and Alison Woods. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and four great- great grandchildren.
