She was predeceased by: her father Luther Curtis; her husband Sam Turner Sr.; and her brothers, Tom Fly, Robert Fly and Joe Fly (Emily Fly).

She is survived by: her son Sam Dee Turner, Jr. (Paula); her grandchildren, Andrew Turner (Andrea), Carla Casey and Angie Frazier; her great grandchildren, Jessica Stamper (Tyler), Zach Casey (Kelsea), Austin Mayo and Hannah Mayo; her great great grandchildren, Blakely, Brynlee and Brooks Stamper; and her sisters, Mary Kolwyck (Bob) and Nancy Murdock.
