He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Fred and Emma Byrum Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Umsted Wilson; his children, David Wilson (Lisa), Susan Wilson Smith (Carl) and Chuck Wilson (Gina); his grandchildren, Christopher Wilson (Jennifer), Melanie Wilson Lai (Jonathan), Colby Smith (Kirstie), Weston Smith (Megan), Sarah Garza (Chris) and Jake Wilson (Lexie); and his great grandchildren, Griffin Wilson, Russell Wilson, Elliott Smith, Michael Lai, Robin Garza, Charlotte Smith, Sutton Smith, Morgan Lai, Cadyn James Wilson, Margot Anita Smith and Baby Smith.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home (2812 N Highland Ave, Jackson, TN 38305). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons (2812 N Highland Ave, Jackson, TN 38305). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Springs Cemetery (2009 Beech Bluff Rd, Beech Bluff, TN 38313).
