He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Smith and Geraldine Smith (Sanders); his wife Phyllis Lovelace Smith; and his siblings, Charlene Pilcher, Jean Conrad, Judy Garner, Theo Smith, Ray Smith, Marvin Smith, Ronnie Smith and Phillip Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Smith of Henning, TN, Missy Anthony of Henning, TN, Amber Smith of Halls, TN, Billy Smith and Chad Smith (Ashley) of Henning; and his sisters, Libba Tillman, Ann Peyton and Sharon Russell.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Faith Community Church (8301 TN-87, Henning, TN 38041). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
