He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Looney and Winifred Jackson Looney. He is survived by: his wife Maria Looney; his sister-in-law Dominican; his sisters, Marion Sartain, Sally Hermsdorfer and Jennie Alexander (Steve); and his brother-in-law Archbishop Emeritus J. Peter Sartain.
