He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim McGuire and Bonnie McGuire; his son Marty McGuire; and his brothers, George Henson, William McGuire "Pug", Gene McGuire, Glenn McGuire, Jimmy McGuire and Donald McGuire.

He is survived by: his wife Billie McGuire; his son Darren McGuire (Michelle) of Collierville, TN; his daughter-in-law Cindy McGuire of Newbern, TN; his stepchildren, Don McLemore of Houston, TX, Kent McLemore of Jackson, TN and Barbara Melvin of Ashville, NC; his brothers, Sammy McGuire and Dave McGuire of Dyersburg, TN; and his grandchildren, Kyle McGuire, Keith McGuire, Anna McGuire and Colleen McGuire.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Hickory Flat Cemetery.
