It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Mae Howell in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Odell and Margaret Lily Rouse Henley; her husband John Earl Howell; her children, Patty Sue Howell, Jerry Wayne Howell, Van David Howell, John Michael Howell and Tony Anthony Howell; her siblings, Minnie Tidwell, Maddell Stansell, Billy Wayne Wiley, William Odell Henley, Bobby Gene Henley and Mike Odell Henley; her grandson Danny Howell, Jr.; her great grandchild Jax Marshall; and her great great grandchild Jaelyn Wayne Adkisson.

She is survived by: her sons, Danny Ray Howell (Debra) and Glenn A. Howell (Amanda); and her siblings, Jackie Ray Henley (Debra) of Jacks Creek, Laura Wilkins of Texas, Jeanette Jones of Henderson, Mary Creasy of Henderson and Patricia Johnson of Henderson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 10 great great-grandchildren.
