He was predeceased by: his father Bill Mac Darnell. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Darnell; his wife Karen Darnell; his daughter Laura Giles (Tripp); his granddaughter Caitlin Giles; and his siblings, Mike Darnell (Kim), Jeff Darnell (Christine), Joan Dickinson (Brent) and Carol Miller (Scott). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
