In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Dewey David had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Dewey David may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Garner and Lucy Horn Garner; and his sister Lee Hassell. He is survived by: his children, Jason Garner and Tommie "Lannette" Riggan (Tony); his siblings, John Garner, Dwight Garner and Patsy Garner; and his grandchildren, Cesar Riggan, Jason Riggan, Jasmine Riggan and Johnathen Riggan.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home (403 E Baltimore St, Jackson, TN 38301). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
